How to get started in the wedding planner profession?
A short guide on how to become a wedding consultant in 20 steps.
1 Work at home. Set yourself up to run your wedding agency on your own account, at your own pace and in your own style. This will give you invaluable freedom to manage your own time, but it can also intensify your sense of responsibility to reliably perform the tasks you undertake.

    View wedding facilities. Make a database of restaurants, hotels, palaces, castles, conservatories, located within a radius of 150 km from your place of residence. Visit these facilities. Arrange a meeting with the manager each time. Prepare yourself substantively. Make a list of questions you will ask during the interview. Take notes of your answers during the meeting. At the end, leave the manager your business card or an offer for comprehensive wedding and reception organization. Make a report of each place you visit and post it on Instagram.

    Database. Systematically and continuously expand your database. Meet with wedding industry service providers. Get to know their offers. Ask about terms of cooperation and prices. Gather samplers and catalogs. Offers of decorators, invitation designs, catalogs of event furniture rental companies will be useful.

    Archiving documents on a computer. Create and organize customer folders and subcontractor folders. Divide them into categories. Choose the email program you will use. Will you choose Outlook? Combine the calendar on your phone with the calendar on your computer so that appointments are automatically saved in both places.
